Eventful walk around the lake this morning with 3 kids and our dog. Ruby got ditched! Seriously. Cooper the dog started barking at another dog approaching, I let go of the stroller to grab the leash from Conrad, abandoning Ruby in her stroller, she rolled down the hill into the bullrushes (thank goodness for those or she would've been in the LAKE!!!) Thankfully all is well. Cooper ended up marking the other dog's tree and Ruby ended up with a little mud on her forehead. OH MY! What fun.

It's Appropriate

Josh asked Amelia what her favorite animal was.
"Pig"
..... uh, ok. (?!)
Why is a pig her favorite animal?
......
"because they live in the mud."
