Thanks!
Thanks everyone for your words. I feel like I've been hugged. Josh saw all the comments before I did. I asked him what they said and he said, "It's not gonna help you with the diet!" It hasn't! I binged. But I don't care. I'm just doin my best. We're taking it easy today... who-ray!

untitled b/c I have no creativity in me
An example of a meal for Josh. Yes, a salad for Josh needed 2 plates. By the way, this was so good. But it took waaayy too long for my liking. Josh's ingredients: 2 cups Napa Cabbage (though I didn't use the full 2 cups), 2 cups spinach, 10 oz. island pork tenderloin (yummy!), 1 red pepper, 1/3 cup of golden raisins (I used craisins b/c that's what I had), 1 orange, and cumin vinaigrette dressing. He could not finish all of it.
I am soo craving cinnamon rolls and chocolate cupcakes. My heart just aches for them. I have cheated at least everyday, though. Be it an ice-cream cone and a kit-kat (I HAD to have them, it was a meltdown moment and I had an hour to myself so I went to Barnes and Noble, Hobby Lobby, got an ice-cream cone (still wasn't satisfied) so I bought a kit kat, too.) I have maybe lost 5 lbs? But I think it was all just water weight due to "that" time of the month. Heh heh... anyway... Josh is feeling great. He is LOVING IT. I, on the other hand, love to complain. Every night when we're exercising something makes me think of pizza or chocolate cupcakes and so I mention how I would like one. DRIVES JOSH CRAZY. I'm doing better to keep quiet around him. Or at least he's gotten used to it. I don't know.
Here are my babies from this past week. Amelia's favorite thing: climbing onto dishwasher

Conrad and Amelia being cute

Amelia was playing peak a boo with me. Can you see that look on her face!?!? C-U-T-E.
She totally says hi. All the time. When I go into get her from her bed she says, "ay" over and over. Or if she finds a new toy and she's excited she says it. Funny. I am still trying to get a good video of it...

I've recently started reading "Scream-free Parenting." It is helping me. I don't have time to blog, though. It is not my priority anymore. Life is hard, but it is good. I think I would like to wait for our next baby until Conrad and Amelia can help me with more things! Ok, gotta go. Conrad is bugging me.

Our millie-bean
Amelia is 10 months old today, and time has flown by. She is my little climber. She is most happy when she's climbing on top of me, or pulling herself up to things, or climbing our steep flight of stairs. She's gotten over her throw-up bug, but something else is bugging her now. She breastfeeds more often, takes only 1 nap, and cries at me to hold her every waking moment. We'll see.
Today I just could not make her happy. As seen in the above picture. This next picture is from a week ago or so, and just adorable!
About a month ago Conrad wanted Amelia to join him in the Cozy Coupe, and she was just in heaven. She started bouncing herself up and down with excitement. Looking and touching everything with a big grin on her face.
Amelia is getting a little better at signing. She does this hand movement that is like revving a motorcycle when she wants to eat or if she needs her diaper changed, or if she just really wants something (like me). She also has started saying "da da" whenever she sees Josh. Josh will try and get her to say "da da" and most of the time she pulls the shy face and turns her head to the side. After he backs off she always says it quietly. It's just adorable. She's adorable!

Fake it 'till you make it
Is my motto. Thank you Dad for teaching me that. Right now I am faking to be a happy, nice mom amid Amelia's throw-up (and a trip to the Urgent Care last night to get her hydrated by myself with Conrad in tow and past bedtime... my prince charming came to the rescue and left his MBA class early because he was worried when he called home at 8:30 pm and I still wasn't home). We got home at 9:30, was up with Amelia for another hour, then we exercised; read more about it here:
Josh and I started P90x. It's a diet and exercise program that is very rigorous. Only 1 carb per day, with a focus on protein, then lots of vegetables and fruit. It will eventually include more carbs, but at the beginning they really want you to "shred the fat." You exercise 6 days a week, for 1 hour a day. And they switch up the exercises everyday. Monday was shoulders and arms along with AB Ripper X, last night was plyometrics, YIKERS. Click on the link to read more about it. Once a week we do Yoga, probably on Saturday, and I am SOO looking forward to that. Anyway, like I said, it is RIGOROUS. Pray for me to have the strength to keep to the diet. So far, I have done pretty good- about 97%. But it's only been 2 1/2 days. :D
We took before pictures, but I am not about to show you any of those! We'll keep those tucked away under strict order by me.
Anyway, things over here are getting better (that is why I am blogging about it). So... 'til we meet again!

Rock Band Party
During one of our recent family visits to Utah we became addicted to Rock Band. We decided to feed the addiction and even dress like rock stars.
Our Band.
L-R my sisters: Erin, Jeni Sara Lynn, me, and Brindy with baby boy in belly.

The boys: mi hermano Kim, Eric, and my very own Bret Michaels.

Me and Josh, after the Bret Michaels wig was removed.
My sisters Erin and Jeni. Jason had a soccer game. Don't worry, we gave him a hard time.

Oh my heck, we're in Utah!
We're here! We made it in 16 hours. Our kids have not been the happiest after that long drive with only 5-10 minute breaks. They're both kind of sick in their bellies. No appetite, yucky diapers. But it's manageable. I can handle it. Especially since I've got Josh with me, too!
About 2 miles away from our house I realized I left the camera and my medicine and the baby monitor. BIG NECESSITIES. Josh was so anxious to get here that he said, "I am not turning this car around." Needless to say I was upset, but it was the very beginning of a long car ride so I decided to be mature and just get over it.
We're here and just relaxing with our semi-onery babies. Don't tell Conrad I said that. He'll tell you that he's a big boy. And our kids are basking in all the love and attention!
Sorry. No pictures! (much to my very own annoyance)

Eric and Sara, hey Happy Anniversary a little bit ago, you two. Obviously they're still celebrating!
