Hi everyone,
I have ventured into the Work-from-Home adventure. In addition to becoming a Beachbody Coach, I am also a Norwex Sales Consultant.
That being said, my blog has really really taken the backseat.
Doing these things has become my fun little outlet. It has also been a huge blessing for our family.
I post a lot on Facebook about Beachbody (so much that I'm afraid people don't think what I'm saying is genuine and heartfelt).
I do most of my Norwex stuff locally.
Norwex's mission is to radically reduce the use of chemicals in your home. Basically you use their microfiber cloths to clean your entire house, using just water. It's kind of hard to wrap your head around that, I know. Once you see it though, you're a believer. Taking this job on has been a tremendous blessing for our family's finances.
To give you an idea, I haven't had a hair appointment since the beginning of May (6 months ago!!!, thank you Brindy for the discounted price on it, too!) I think this is the longest I've gone, ever.
As a Beachbody Coach, I am here to help you achieve your fitness goals. Beachbody is the top of the top for in-home workout DVD's. They also sell a powdered shake mix that when compared next to others, it's hands-down the winner. My Dietician friend
Heidi looked at the ingredients and the nutrition facts. She was surprised and impressed. It's not your every-day protein powder or weight-loss shake.
Those things being said, you can guess our lives have changed. I basically don't have time to ever watch TV. I (obviously) don't have time to blog. My day-to-day life is now revolving around my to-do list. I feel like I am a high-functioning person nowadays. I love it. I felt like I was in the trenches while Conrad and Amelia were 2, 3, 4 and 5 years old (Amelia's now 4 1/2). Ruby is my little challenge lately. From dumping entire contents of a garbage can out to dipping toothbrushes in the toilet and sucking on them, she keeps me on my toes. She is just a gem, though. We just LOVE her!!! Ruby has become very very very attached to me lately, too. Refuses to go to Dad. The minute I pick her up she puts her thumb in her mouth and takes a big sigh and leans right into me. I swear she'd still be nursing if I hadn't put the kaibosh on it.
Josh has an easier month right now. He's working at the Children's Hospital. He'll get Thanksgiving Day off (hallelujah) and also a couple or 3 days off at Christmas time. I feel like since I've started these ventures our marriage is better than ever. We are working together as a team. We're more unified. It's awesome. I have so much love and respect for Josh. I have started feeling the burden that he carries, and it sucks. It really stresses you out and drains you. So, doing these things has changed me in a way that I am functioning at a higher level, taking time for the most important things. The time I spend with my kids is higher quality time because I specifically am designating that time just for them. The time Josh and I get to spend together is valuable and just ... great. He is so good to me. I find myself thinking about the time we were dating and engaged. Did you know I wanted to back-out of getting married? 1 month before we got married I was beside myself, so doubtful and confused. Josh was such a smooth-talker he calmed my fears. If I could talk to myself back then I would be singing the praises of how great Josh would be for me. Of the adventures we would have together. Of the challenges we would get through. Of how I would grow and become someone I never knew was possible. These things would not be possible if it weren't for Josh and the great influence he has had on my life.
Until next time.
