Gone Fishin' March 23, 2012

Ruby's ready to rock and roll...
 Amelia's rrr... eeee...achooo!!!!
.... READY!  We dug up probably 30 worms!!!

This entire post might be dedicated towards Amelia and her antics...

Amelia wanted me to take a picture of those flowers you see next to the tree... OK, whatever you say Amelia.

I did not know how to properly hook a worm until this trip!!!  5 older brothers and not a single one of them taught me how to hook a worm.  I came to the conclusion that either A. They did not know how to properly hook a worm, or B. I did not care nor show any interest in learning how to hook a worm.  PROBABLY B!

Me and Josh had a good chuckle over this picture!!!  Oh, Conrad I hope you forgive me for posting this!!!  We just thought you looked like a muppet, that's all!!!

Amelia's saying, "Ohh, wook at the widdow fishy!"

Ruby's bearing with us.  She was actually great.  A handful of veggie straws and she was fine.

Reeling one in!!!

Amelia telling me a "fish story"

catch and release!!!

Fishing.  It's a beautiful thing.
p.s. I will be so sad when we move.  We love our beautiful neighborhood!!!

Purina Farms on March 31st

Spring Festival is going on at Purina Farms so we drove 45 minutes to do the following.  The first 4 pictures made it worth the drive!
I couldn't get Amelia into the picture!!!

Ruby's looking at the Easter Bunny and terrified!

The Easter Bunny was trying so hard not to scare Ruby!  Failed.  Meanwhile Conrad is such a sweet brother... or is he?

Turns out Conrad thinks it's funny, too.  I'm sorry that I think this is awesome.  Should I be sorry???  I don't know.  Every kid has to have one of these pictures, though, right?!?!?
Around Purina Farms they have a rope-swinging spot as demonstrated...

They had their springtime baby animals out for the kids to see and pet.  Amelia was terrified of the ladies dressed up.  Reminiscent of the Easter Bunny above???

Oh gosh I love my funny kids!!!

I took the old camera (it's smaller and easier to handle when I'm parenting solo style) so I got lots of weird shots.  Like this one, for example.

Or this one?  haha, just kidding.  Conrad is boy through and through.

Yes, the Purina Farms Headquarters!  They even do a dog show!  Conrad and Amelia loved it!  It's free!!!  I loved it!
After the dog show, I promised the kids we'd get ice-cream.  Amelia takes for.e.ver. to eat ice-cream.  So we hung around these concrete stairs/stadium area and I took a few snaps.

Here's a video from some piglets.  It was so fun to watch!!!
